SSMC Welcomes Delana Erbsen as Dairy Program Specialist

Select Sires Member Cooperative (SSMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Delana Erbsen as a Dairy Program Specialist in Iowa. In this role, Erbsen will work closely with dairy producers to support their breeding programs and help them achieve success in their operations.

Erbsen grew up on her family’s dairy farm, Erbacres Holsteins, where she was actively involved in showing cows at the local, state, and national levels. She is a recent graduate of Iowa State University she strengthened her industry knowledge and product offerings through an SSMC internship in Ohio during the summer of 2024. This hands-on experience, combined with her dairy background, provides her with a strong foundation to serve producers in her new role.

“I am most looking forward to meeting producers and helping them succeed in their operations,” said Erbsen.

Erbsen remains actively involved in her family’s dairy operation in Lanark, Ill., and enjoys helping on the home farm and showing cows in her free time.
