SSMC takes top honor at CowManager Awards Ceremony

Select Sires Member Cooperative was named CowManager^® “Dealer of the Year” during their recent Global Dealer Awards Ceremony. Nominees for the recognitions spanned North and South America, South Africa, and across Europe. This online presentation, hosted in The Netherlands, was held on January 23.

SSMC earned this best overall performance honor based on multiple key performance indicators (KPI). The tripling of tag sales sold in their 27-state area and Mexico in 2025 over 2024 set a high standard that was unmatched. “We’re just beginning!” announced Brandon Thesing, Director of Corporate Accounts, as he virtually accepted the award on behalf of over 300 team members and 28 CowManager specialists in the cooperative.

Select Sires Member Cooperative has partnered with CowManager for 12 years and this is the cooperative’s first win. SSMC was also nominated for the Brand Ambassador Award. This recognition is presented for the exceptional work at trade shows, strong lead generation, collaboration, and bringing enhancements to the marketplace.  World Wide Sires Ireland was the recipient.

Other international award winners included Select Sires Argentina SRL with the Rookie Award, World Wide Sires UK for the Service Award, and World Wide Sires South Africa for the Innovation Award.

About CowManager
CowManager’s unique ear sensor measures ear temperature combined with eating, rumination, and activity. With the fertility module, health module, and nutrition module, CowManager provides real-time information with accurate and early alerts. Finding cows in heat and catching sick cows days before they show clinical signs, make dairy producers’ lives easier. CowManager’s lifetime monitoring system results in increased pregnancy rates, healthier cows, reduced veterinarian costs and labor, improved production, lower mortality rates and decrease in use of synchronization programs and antibiotics. Monitoring is not just for the milking herd, as producers are now adding the signature orange tags to their youngstock to monitor health and activity.
