Select Sires Member Cooperative Welcomes Mykenzie Lance as new Communications Coordinator
Select Sires Member Cooperative (SSMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Mykenzie Lance as communications coordinator. In this role, Lance will support the cooperative’s communication initiatives. She will assist in creating a meaningful impact on the dairy and beef producers we serve.
Lance is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University (OSU), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication, with a minor in animal science. She brings experience in agricultural marketing, journalism, and customer relations through her internships with The Wendt Group/Showpig.com and The Hardin County Fair, where she worked closely with producers and youth exhibitors. In addition to her internships, she also served as the design editor for the 2025 edition of the AgriNaturalist magazine, OSU’s agricultural communications capstone project for seniors, and the oldest student-run magazine in the nation.
“I am incredibly excited to join the Select Sires Member Cooperative team,” said Lance. “As someone who is passionate about agriculture, I admire the cooperative’s dedication to serving the member-owners of SSMC. I look forward to working with the team to promote the benefits of our products and services to beef and dairy producers in our territory.”
A native of Kenton, Ohio, Lance has deep roots in the agricultural community. She grew up breeding and showing pigs across the country. In her free time, Lance enjoys spending time with family and friends, helping youth livestock exhibitors, and exercising.
