SSMC Milking Shorthorn Program

Select Sires Member Cooperative (SSMC) is excited to work with the American Milking Shorthorn Society for the development and promotion of Milking Shorthorn sires to meet the artificial insemination needs of U.S. breeders. A joint selection committee identifies sires that fit the genetic needs of today's Milking Shorthorn breeders. The sires are collected at SSMC Sire Services facility in Hampshire, Ill. This non-CSS semen is made available through CentralStar Cooperative, Premier Select Cooperative, and SSMC. A limited amount of semen will be available sexed, so be sure to reach out to your representative to take advantage of this exclusive offering.
